Growth Habits: A medium/large tree to 16m.The foliage is extremely thick and dark green on the upper surface and bright silver below. As with most banksia's it produces yellow upright flowers which become the cone like seed pods which are popular with florists etc. It is very hardy & tolerant to coastal conditions but can also be grown in most soil types.It is also bird attracting.
Watering Needs: Drought tolerant species once established.
