Growth Habits: A medium tree to 10m with a narrow columnar shape.It usually has a strong central leader and upward-curving lateral branches. Heavily-flowered in spring, with excellent glossy summer foliage, and burgundy to scarlet to orange autumn foliage colour. Usually the last of the ornamental pears to blossom but also the last to lose its foliage in autumn. Very hardy species.
Watering Needs: Drought tolerant species once established.
